Have an opportunity to purchase a home in the terrace hills neighborhood on the west side of lawton. How is the city, housing market, jobs? I enjoy living rural with an hour or two drive to a big city and am not interested in "nightlife" would rather camp or go hiking. Just wondering if its worth it to try and live there or just flip the house. Thanks!

| Grew up in Lawton and still work at Fort Sill, but I live in Duncan now (about 30 miles away). Lawton is not the town it used to be. Crime and gang problems are the biggest issue. I would just flip the house. Just my humble opinion, YMMV. |
