I am glad you are happy with it, I was just looking at JD lowers yesterday and trying to decide wether to go with them or Spikes for a lower. I Want one with an Eagle Globe and Anchor. Looks like I should give them a call. They make the lowers for Spikes Tactical, so you can't go wrong with either one. I think they just have different companies that do the anodizing, because the spikes I've seen seem to have a thicker shell than the my JD roll marked lowers. |

I don't notice a difference in thickness between my Spikes and JD anodizing, but the JD is a little less "glossy?" I like the looks of the JD a little more, but that's just personal preference. It looks great with their matching upper! |

I was aware of this from Calguns, but really did'nt care about what happened in the past. The people running the company now are great, and having a gun manufacturing facility in CA is a rare thing. I will continue to buy from them and look forward to seeing them at the next gun show. If you happen to see them at a show near you, stop in and say hi. I think you'll like the people and their products. I know I did. |
