I've got an M4 type rifle with standard sites on it and need to find something else.  I've started shooting in competitions in Jefferson County and though the rifle is'nt set up for competition and I dont expect to be able to "compete" with the other rifles, mine is set up the way I want it.  The problem is the front squar site post is bigger than the simulated 600 yrd target and the rear apature is to large to be able to get a good site picture.......anyone have a line on where to purchase a good set up that will work.......olympic arms upper and lower with a bushmaster barrel.  Ive found a site post thats smaller and I think it will work but I dont want to wast my time if thiers something better. ...Mike.

It's a 100 yard shoot with 300 and 600 yrd simulated targets.....its not really 600 yrds but if your shooting something other than a $2000 dollar rifle......it might as well be.  What's even better though is this guy had a newly purchased 50 cal he set up after we were finished..he let everyone who was present and wanted to....shoot it, I did'nt because I did'nt want to take advantage of the guy, big dude that he was, the ammo is expensive and he spent more than ten rounds just letting others shoot it........it was fun to watch/feel though..bad ass.

I was wondering the same thing, there is a front post with a tiny ring and crosshair that might be good, sorry that this is of no help, but the same topic anyway.
