I've been using East County Guns for years, but I went in the other day to pick up two lower transfers. They charged me individuality for each transfer. Used to be $20 for whatever you were transferring that day, ie, two lower receivers and a pistol, $20. A shotgun and a rifle, $20, etc. I was accustomed to walking in with a 20 dollar bill and my ccl and leaving with my stuff. This trip was $50 for two lowers.. Nothing on the shelf has ever been reasonably priced, so I guess they have to make an earning somehow. I'll be looking for a new gun shop for transfers, though. |

I have used them for NFA transfers and buying direct from their store and have always felt like they have provided value to me. With the new $0 nfa tax coming in January on suppressors and SBR’s they will probably be overwhelmed with orders and back orders waiting for NFA approval. I would recommend using this time to meet and build a relationship with a local business like ECG. Instead of trying to save $20 on a stripped lower. JMHO…. Best regards |
