| What’s the rules on that? I’ve read that a boat under 16’ w/o a permanent motor doesn’t need a title but a boat that has a motor needs to be registered with the state. I have a 15.5’ flat stern canoe I want to put a 4hp outboard or trolling motor on, does it need to be registered? Since it’s less than 16’, there is no title, if it needs to be registered, how is that done w/o a title? It’s 20yo and I have no paperwork typically required to title something. |
