I had issues with them when I was stationed in Maryland. They're *IN* Maryland. They are some of the weirder ones out there. The GM where I work was convinced barreled uppers are banned "because that's more than 80% of a firearm, and the law says 80% firearms are banned." Took us a good few minutes to explain why he was wrong, in a way that someone who loves hearing his own voice explain why he's right wouldn't get butthurt over.  I would be willing to wager Atlantic's attorney(s) simply said "nobody knows what's really allowed and isn't because those jackwagons actually used screenshots from Call of Duty when they couldn't find images of guns they wanted to put on the list" and they're erring on the side of caution for now. I'd just go buy it somewhere else, like I did with a certain thing that wasn't legal in Cali but was here at the time, and Optics Planet's AI bot decided colorado and california are the same state. |

I've seen a number of retailers who apparently are playing it safe and have decided it's better to restrict too much than to accidentally run afoul of Colorado's new law. One retailer even has a notice on their homepage saying they've stopped all firearm and firearm accessory sales to CO because of SB25-003. Not just semi-auto rifles, all firearms. |
