News link Apparent murder-suicide in Richardson under investigation A man and a woman were found shot in an apparent murder-suicide in a Richardson home early Tuesday, police say. Officers found their bodies inside a home in the 2100 block of Sunrise Trail, near Spring Valley and Jupiter roads, about 4 a.m. Tuesday. Investigators think the woman was shot and that the man died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The man and woman had a previous relationship and lived together at the home, police said. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office identified the victim as Dr. Olga Korobovskaya. Richardson police identified the suspect as Newman Wallace Lofland, 71.
