So I have this crazy idea I want a Mattel lower and I got to thinking why not do an 80% build and get it engraved the way I want (my name as manuf, but with Mattel logo). Anybody in the area got a mill that would be interested in helping a poor victim of BRD out?

Tom Sawyer MFG seems the way to go - he's ordering virtually blank receivers (probably CMT, so they'd be quality) and will engrave just about anything you want.

I shot him an e-mail. I kind of like the 80% idea. That way it will be ready if I want to SBR it, or, if Satan leads the Islanders to the Cup next year and Stewart is allowed, I'll F1 it as full-auto
