members will keep them or find homes for them,,they are going to the Vet this morning for check ups ..one found a home in DFW with a member I am still considering keeping one but my older male terrier(2), also a Foundling I Adopted who showed up at the ranch 18 mo ago, is PISSED about the one I chose and bought into the house..

Friends, some kind soul decided to dump what appears to be 8 shepard//Rotty/Lab puppies at my place this evening., all appear healthy, well fed, tick and flea free and came from what appears to be a clean and cared for previous housing situation. why anyone would put care, cleanliness into dogs they are going to dump on a farm is beyond me, It is not with in my moral ken to understand how people do this or why nor do I know what style of horsewhip should be used on the misanthrope who does this deed but I am sure it ought to be a law to make use of one on them.. I can not keep them, I will try keep one female runt, will sleep on it.. they WILL go to a pound by Monday latest, probably tomorrow afternoon to a no kill shelter in Garland..maybe, working on it in the AM IF YOU or someone you know, WANT need, desire a cute, black or black and tan mix dog to keep you company, guard your home front from brigands and scare off future interlopers..HERE is your opportunity, PLEASE CALL Doug 214-770-6725 or email reply Thank you. UPDATE appears to be 2 different litters....4 predominantly lab mix and 4 predominantly Sheppard mix.. 2 have found homes.1 black and tan female and one black and tan male.

Natural bob tails or do you think someone docked? They look like they have a little wire hair terrier in them. They are too small to be the offspring of two large parents. Black and tan is recessive, so the contributing parents to the black and tan pups both had to carry at least one copy of the black and tan gene.
If those are natural bob tails, ie: born that way vs. docked, they have one parent with a natural bob tail as well. NBT occurs in several breeds, though. |

NBT occurs in several breeds, though. they appear to be natural bob tails, one member here, myself and my sis are each adopting one, though my current pup seems to have NO interest in a new buddy... they will have to go to the county shelter with in a few days, I can not care for them physically or financially.. 
sad thing people do to children and dogs. never amazes me, just pisses me off..

Having been in dogs for over 25 years, nothing surprises me anymore. I have seen well bred dogs abandoned, abused, neglected and dumped for all sorts of reasons, none ever good enough to justify the actions.
I am guessing these guys are going to be medium sized adults, probably around 35-50 lbs. |
| Doubtful they are different litters, but more likely that they are from the same dam and a few are sired by different males. It is technically possible for each puppy in a litter to have a different sire, not usual, but possible, especially if the dam was running loose while in heat. |
