Hey all. Yes i've read the Ranges thread. Ok. Where do you go to shoot your AR-15? Obviously it's to fast for indoor ranges (which are to small anyway) and the only 100yd outdoor ranges i've seen are private clubs. Well i'm deploying in a few months and don't want to have to fork out $270 for a membership at the PMRPC for a few months. Are there any other options or is that basically it? |

Daytona has a great county owned range, ARs are welcome. Bill Strickland Range
In spite of our extremely liberal paper trying to kill the range, it is open 5 days per week. Tr it.

Yeah... you're right... but we have a fish camp 1/2 mile south of us that doesn't appreciate rounds dropping in. Not everyone is aware of their muzzle climb; they're just juiced on the noise and flash. When I'm the RO, I have been known to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis and have agreed to meet folks with Class III after normal range hours to have a bit of fun, but only if I get to shoot!
