Do I have something wrong with me when I want to buy multiples of the exact same gun? I feel like I'm going nuts here lately

I've been thinking about doing the same thing. I've been carrying my M&P9c every day while my little Kahr CM9 sits in the safe. I have a custom holster on the way for it, but I may just let it all go and replace it with another 9c. Yeah, I'm thinking of switching to the M&P platform. Probably going to pick up a couple .40s and a .40c |

I too am the "Noah's Ark" of gun collecting. Round them up two by two.
Not so much for handguns, just Walther P38s, HKP7s, HK USPs, Walther PPKs, Glocks, S&W revolvers but several pairs of Steyr AUGs, HK91s, FALs, Garands, ARs, M1 Carbines, Beretta and Benelli shotguns. |

I have a similar problem... http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g320/mistershipwreck/9-wheel-o-berettacopy.jpg So...what do you think of Beretta? Seriously OP, I'm considering another PPQ in 9mm because I like it THAT much. |

I'll be the dissenter. I have multiple handguns, but no two are the same. Now I did go crazy on an estate sale once and end up buying a bunch of Mosin Nagants, but only 2 are the same model. That only happened on accident. I haven't even shot most of them, and stick to the M-39 when I am feeling the Mosin itch. The 91, 91/30, 38, 44 all just sit collecting dust. Someday I'll get a Russian flag and put it up on the wall behind all of them, or just sell them. But I know as soon as I sell them I will want one back.
I just don't think it is that big of deal to switch between handguns. I have switched between a red dot sighted browning buckmark and a G34 with irons on each stage of steel challenge match and it didn't seem to affect me that much. |
