Hello I just bought a xd 45 service. What is the difference between the service model and others. Is it the accesories?

Thanks

I believe it is just regarding the barrel length. Sub compact is a 3" barrel, Service model is a 4" , and the Tactical model is a 5".

Almost.

For the XD45, you have the:

- Compact, with short grip and 4" barrel.
- Service, with full grip and 4" barrel.
- Tactical, with full grip and 5" barrel.
- Compact tactical, with short grip and 5" barrel.

In 9mm and .40, there is the sub-compact with even shorter grip, and 3" barrel.  There is no "compact" in those calibers.
