I was looking at a friends G-22 and at the very front of the slide on the inside there is a little plastic piece of plastic that I have never seen before.....He said it is some kind of buffer. Have you guys heard of this? It looks factory... None of the Glocks I have or have had gave this, any ideas?

Sounds like some plastic aftermarket crap that's likely to break to throw a wrench into the works if you ask me... I could well be wrong, but I don't think any glock comes with this buffer you mentioned.

My two cents.... don't mess with a factory glock besides sights and mag extensions if it's a weapon to be used for defense. There's no need for all those doo-dads that some company will claim you need.... like slide buffers.

I've heard of it, and seen it.

It's not factory.

It's aftermarket crap, that is not in any way necessary, and in fact COULD compromise reliability if it comes apart inside the gun while shooting.

Do not want.
