I am looking at this .50 and I have never paid attention to the chambers. What is the purpose of the hoof looking thing in the pic? It looks 10x worse in the pic because of the carbon buildup. In the pic it looks like a crack but it is not. It is kind of hoof shaped with a slot in the center. It looks machined like it belongs there. I cleaned it off and it looks better. There looks like some wear on the face of it from the bolt. Anyone have pics of their .50 chambers?
