I have a Kimber CDP Pro and a Springfield Loaded model that I use Wilson magizines in.  I have 2 seven round mags and 3 eight round mags that have function perfectly in my pistols.  My problem is the plastic base plates have worn out on 3 of the mags.  The small hole in the middle of the baseplase gets somewhat shredded and does not stay in place.

I don't mind replaceing these, it is just a little unsettling to look down and see the magazine coming apart on my carry gun.  Is there a way to correct this or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks for the help.

Plastic base pads are one of the weakest links of the Wilson magazines. Call them and they'll send you replacement base pads free of charge. If you use your magazines hard and drop them a lot, I would suggest upgrading to steel base pads. They are not cheap ($6 each, IIRC), but you'll never have to worry about your base pads again. That's what I did for (almost) all my Wilson magazines.

I put some aluminum bases on a few of mine, but I've never had any probs with the black plastic.

Maybe MAGPUL will do a RANGER plate for them!
