...and specifically, what leather OWB holster do you use? I use a Vedder light tuck for my S&W CSX currently and I've liked DeSantis scabbard (pancake) holsters for OWB in the past. DeSantis lists their 1911 holsters as fitting the BHP but it's a lousy fit. I'd like to get a pancake holster for my BHP but don't want to get a "one size fits most" fit or pay $$$$ for custom or semi-custom. |

| I generally carry mine in a Galco IWB holster but I would highly recommend Privateer holsters as well. I have one of his “economy” level Bilge-Rat holsters for my Girsan PI model and if that’s his cheap line of holsters, I am sure one of his higher end holsters are amazing! |

I carry my SA35 a lot of the times now but it's in my Milt Sparks Summer Special ll iswb. It's a 1911 holster but the -35 fits just fine. So I'm no help at all. Except for a few bump.

I carried a BHP40 for a few years in LE and had Brian Hoffner (back when he did leatherwork) modify my 1911 duty SSIII holster to work, and off duty holsters I had a local boot shop that did great holster mods add some extra stitches. |
