First off, can't get both. So, I'm going to get one. May want to have some custom work done to whatever I get one of these days. Just accuracy work, not much cosmetic.

A Colt 70 series reproduction

Or a Springfield Mil-Spec ?

And why?

The 70 series reproduction is catching my eye right now. I've seen it online for around $750, I'm having a hard time nailing down a price on a Mil-Spec.

Or, should I just get a Springfield Loaded and call it a day.

Darn tough decision for me I tell ya.

The Colt is the best base for a custom build.

The SA Loaded is the best bang for the buck.

I love my 70. I had two and I'm down to only one now but its a keeper.

repro 70 Colt. not something you see in every GS.

mil-spec is just a mil-spec.

Springfield loadded no shortadge of those on the used/new market

Richmond gunshow this weekend, if they have one it's coming home with me.

I've seen them online from $755 to $899 so far.

Buds gun shop has the Blued Colt 70 rep. in stock for 766.39. I got one of mine there and they shipped it out quick and were great tp deal with.
