I need a new chronograph, I just plugged mine with a 480 Ruger. .475 caliber, 400 Gr. lead bullet at 1300 fps. It won't make Boone and Crockett and it won't survive.

I feel your pain. I just pasted mine with the AR....NOTE TO SELF: Check scope zero before using chrono.  Dumbass. I must have had about 1000 rds over that chrono without even grazing it. Dumbass. Well, this one (first) round went right through the display and right through the back of the unit.  Dumbass. Man, I felt stupid. Pretty much ruined the range session. Anyway, I had the Competition Electronics Pro Chrono Pal. The replacement (for the DUMBASS mistake) is the Pro Chrono Digital. They have been great for me. I used the Chrony before that, which worked fine, but I like this one much better. They are both available thru Midway for about 95-100 bucks. The digital has more features (ES, SD, and more shot strings). Like I said, I feel your pain.....better luck next time!!
