How much would you pay for a used VP9 with four magazines?

Well, the PSA sale before Christmas was for $449, so whenever I see a VP9 selling for $600, I feel like I'm being gouged.  Add $50 for the extra two mags.  So honestly, I wouldn't pay more than about $475.

500 if it's in good shape. New with 3 mags you can find them for 550 if you're savvy.

yeah PSA ruined their price for me. Almost bought one then just because it was 450. for me to pay more than 500 ($50 for your extra mags) used it better have night sights or mill work.

Define used. Maybe $250-300 if it's in decent shape.

Depends on the condition and if it is the VP9LE or not.

Excellent condition, not LE model.

If you were getting this from a good friend or family, I'd offer $500. If some random, I'd start at $400 and work your way up to negotiate at $450 or $475. Four mags to start off from a baseline two mag with is a good deal...I'd probably do it for $500 even myself.

How about for a LE model with night sights, and 3 extra mags (6 total mags if you include the 3 that came with it)?

It's got about 900 rounds through it, cleaned after every range session, with no signs of wear.   I'm going to sell mine locally, but I'm not really sure what to ask for it.  I don't want to sell or trade it in at a LGS because I doubt I'll get as much as I can in a private party sell.

Honest value for non LE? $500 tops, even with 4 mags. Likely in the $450-475 range in todays market.

I'd agree with this.  I'd probably go $500 if it had sights on it that I liked and extra mags are nice.

I can't even...

That number bothers me...why is it inflated that high, is this a personal sale price or a shop asking price? Scalpers be scalping either way

They aren't offered for sale to non-Leo. There used to be a work around (ffl would make the pistol a single shot and any handgun not on our approved roster of guns could be sold that way...along with the parts to convert it back to semi once you get it home) but that loophole closed.
Leo can buy and resell them but I believe that avenue is closing soon also. That leaves new residents coming into state and bringing their pistols with them and selling them.

For a LEO they are normal price, once they hit the used market though the price increases due to limited availability and high demand.
CA...gotta live it

It's worth what people will pay you for it. Saying PSA had a sale bla bla bla has no bearing because they're not selling them for that now. Alaska was purchased from the Russians for $7.2 million. Doesn't mean that's what it's worth today.

Used guns generally come in 10-15% less than new, based on condition.

Cheapest online for a VP9 is $480 plus shipping new, so you're in $440 range, add 2 used mags at $25-$27 each and you're in the $490 shipped range.

Yea, Glock Gen4 range - for a much better "blasting" gun. I still believe the VP9 is the best deal out there for a "shooter".

Prepper gun shop has the base model for sale at $449.  Helluva deal.

So if I move to California, I can bring any qty of any gun I want?
