They look nice, are they decent shooters ? Do they take hi power mags ? Still in production? |
| It’s funny the wall at my lgs/range was just filling up again then Biden’s speech and now bingo on everything plus ammo too again. That said I haven’t seen the Turkish hi powers in awhile. Maybe when it calms down we will see them again since I don't think they are on the chopping block yet for imports. |
| I luckily got one of the stainless models when they first started coming in. Honestly it's not one of my best shooters, may be due to it's gritty trigger, but it does look nice, and I only shot a few mags through it pre covid and I haven't been back to it since. |

I had one, really wanted to like it. Had a gunsmith remove the magazine disconnect safety. The trigger was never the same afterwards. It never broke at the same point again. I took it to the range and had two other range offices shoot it as well. None of us enjoyed the trigger and couldn't get a consistent trigger pull. I ended up selling it years ago. |

Talked to the owner of SDS imports this past Saturday about the possibility of a Hi-power import under his brand. Said that he has asked and its a no go. Someone else had the Hipower rights here in the USA and they cant import them. He never said the name of the importer or the companies in turkey that are making them. Im assuming its the Girsan company and EAA. |

I picked up one when they first hit the market. Mine's a good shooter. I meant to get a stainless one as well but the supply ran out by the time I was ready to buy. You can still get them on Gunbroker... if you don't mind paying $1200.
