Deos anyone make these for 1911's?

If so do they require fittment?

Wilson sells one for $160.00 (item #419). Don't think it requires any fitting––don't know why it would.  You can see it at www.wilsoncombat.com.  Undoubtedly there are others, as well.

By comparison, a tungsten guide rod for a Glock is $50 from glockmeister and that includes a recoil spring.  The wilson does not.

I got mine From dawson precision ( a few years ago), for a STI 2011. IMHOP, not really needed for a 1911 in 45, Mine sits in a STI edge.  Any fitting would be of the flange to the frame and barrel clerance area.

Tung is brittle and will break if not fit right.
