I recently bought a couple of used PD trade glocks, a G31, and G32.

Ive had a 17, a 23 (both sold) and now have the 31 and 32 with 9mm conversions. Ive owned four glocks now, and am familiar with the factory triggers.

The trigger on the 32 is just like the 17 and 23 I had. It has the 'hump' which makes it feel two stage. This gun seems to have been fired very little. Trigger is like factory new. The stop is very positive, and it rebounds from the hump quickly, and with authority.

The 31 feels strange. This gun has been fired more, obviously, even though it shows very little carry wear.  Even after detail cleaning it, the trigger feels like the 'hump' is not positive, and the return (let off trigger after it hits the hump) is not as authorative as any of my other glocks are or have been. I tired the GHO-STD trigger kit in it, but was very disappointed. This setup just seemed to remvoe the 'hump' or positive stop, I never knew when the trigger was ready to break, and it made the pull fill like a single, long mushy unpredictable mess. I had one of these in my old 17 and it worked well and maintained the two-stage stop. Not so on this gun.

I have since replaced all the factory trigger parts. The stop is back now, but still feels kind of "mushy" and more like its hitting a hump than a wall.

What can I do to improve this? Do I need a new OEM connector? If I get the glock OEM 3.5# connector will that keep the two stage stop? I kind of like having the stop. Otherwise the trigger just feels like its 10 miles long and unpredictable (DAO style) Is there a better ghost kit I should trade this one for?

Thanks for any help.

I think the "Hump" is more older vs newer design of the trigger bar.
Replace the trigger bars and connectors in both and the pulls should feel the same.

I recently bought a new G40  10mm (gen4) that has the same issue your describing. This is a brand new gun and has the worst trigger I've ever felt on a Glock. Exactly like yours, it is a long mushy feel with no notice of when it will break. I also had a lot of un-intentential double taps while shooting it. I have a thread on it a few pages down. I ordered some new spring kits and connectors to see if that helps but the stuff is currently taking a tour of the USA according to the tracking number. It was supposed to be here wednesday and I was hoping to have it fixed by now and test it this weekend. I'll post an update if the stuff ever shows up. The US mail is not what it used to be!
