I've only had mine for a few weeks and have only had enough free time for a little over 200 rounds. I love it. Range ammo recoil is no worse than warm .40 but it's a lot louder. Everybody looks over the first time you touch one off!  I don't have any of the hot stuff from Double-Tap yet, but 175gr Silvertips were very controllable. I'm definitely going to have to focus on the fundamentals and train up to this pistol's potential, but I don't see myself going back to carrying a .40 at this point. I might even trade my 35 in for a 20. Might. Gratuitous Glock porn follows:

| I carry a 29 everyday. I also have 40 and 357Sig barrels for it. It will shoot all 3 using the same mags. You can shoot the 40 in the 10mm barrel, but it is preferable to use the right barrel. There is nothing out there that I have found that compares to a Glock 29 in compact firepower. You can even use the 15rd Glock 20 mags in it with a filler piece that will give you a full size grip if you want it. |
