Which would you choose and why?

I carry a Sig P220 and the Sig P245 is to big for a back-up so I am not sure what I want as back-up pistol if any.

Here are some that I have looked at:
Beretta 9000 9mm
CZ 2075 RAMI 9mm
Glock 30 & 36 45ACP
Glock 26 9mm
HK P2000SK 9mm
Kahr PM & MK Series 9mm
SW99C 9mm
SA XD SC 9mm

Right now I am leaning towards the Glock 36 or 26, SA XD SC, and HK P2000SK.

Compacts that I've carried:

S&W 640 J Frame
Ruger SP101
FEG PMK 380
Walther PPK
Browning BDA 380
Glock 26

The one I carry almost all the time when I carry a compact is the Glock 26.

I used to carry the SA XD SC 9mm, I upgraded to the SA XD SC .40 when it came out.

I could not reccomend or give enough praise for both of these weapons. Outstanding design and performance, and extremely underpriced.

I have carried the Glock 26 before, It pales in comparrison to the xd subs IMHO. I cant speak for the other weapons.

A Glock 26 is all I carry.  IMHO, the G26 is the best CCW on the market.

I would choose either the XD SC or a kahr PM series.

The reason I would choose the XD SC i because I already carry a 4" XD and I own  2 of them and absolutely love the XD.

The reason I would choose the Kahr Pm is becuase it is such a small handgun for both 9mm and 40sw kahr make some very reliable handguns.

If size/weight was the issue and price was'nt then I would go Kahr PM,  If price was more of an issue then I would go XD SC.

I will probably end up getting both.

Another vote for the SA XD SC. Mine shoots great and zero problems in hundreds of rounds. I plan to get a full size model maybe next year.

Actually I think I am going to try and get my hands on the new HK P2000SK 9mm.  If not then most likely I will get the Glock 26 or SA XD SC.

G26- Don't forget that it will accept mags from G19 15+1, G17 17+1 and G18 33+1. Plus, they will be very abundant and affordable next week.

SA XD 40 S&W.  Tough to find, but check gunbroker and question the sellers of the subcompact 9mm.  Carries 9+1 and still no malfunctions.  I carry it in a G-code kydex paddle.

I carry a G26 all of the time except during the winter I will carry my USP compact with heavier clothes some.  I love the G26.....it conceals easily, even with shorts and tee shirts, and is very accurate.  That being said, I have no experience with the others that you mentioned.  If possible, go to a shop that has a shoot before you buy option and go with the one that feels the best for you.  I think it is all about what feels best in your hands.....otherwise it's a Ford vs Chevy sort of thing.

I went w/the G27...And sold it ASAP.  Like the Rami, it's fat.  I now carry a Kahr PM9 all the time.
