What are everyone's thoughts versus the ported and unported version?  I think that having a ported version would benefit the shooter for faster follow-up shots.  I heard that porting version may obscure the shooter due to the blast shooting from the top partially blinding the shooter from seeing the front sight?

The other downside that I can think of is that you plan on using this gun for competition, you might get bounced to a different class since your gun now has a compensator on it.

In a real CQB situation with the pistol tucked in tight, it's gonna get ya!
Honestly, to me ported weapons are a gimmick, unless your talking about a .500 S&W it's really not that great a deal.
But the that's just MY opinion.
