[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Springfield OEM Metalforms?

I have heard that Springfield sometimes uses Metalform for their OEM magazines delivered with their 1911 pistols. I'm trying to figure out if the two magazines I got with my MC Operator are Metalforms or not.

Does anyone know if the Metalforms that Springfield provides have the M insignia stamped into the welded base? My mags have blank welded bases and are blued 7-rounders with flat dimple followers.

Did anyone get circle-M magazines with their new Springfield?

Since the mags that came with my TRP have been 100% so far (just like the rest of the gun) it doesn't really matter to me. Shoot the bejesus out of them and if they don't work, get some Wilsons or Power Mags.

None of my factory SA mags have the metalform stamp on them.

All fo them run flawlessly. I actually really like metalform magazines.
