| Got a chance at buying one, and I can find photos of two types that Springfield put out. I haven't seen the pistol yet, but if I do I will post pics. Anyone have some feedback on these guns? Guy says that it is a Limited edition w/barrel porting. I didn't find one that had ports, but there is one that came with a comp. What would be a fair price? What warranty would Springfield have offered from 1991-2002? This is supposed to be the production time frame for these types of 1911s. Oh, if you have one post up a pic please. |

I once had a PDP Defender - I paid $804 for it back in 1997, if I remember right. Not sure what the price is worth now - probably more than that - even used.
I actually kind of regret selling it back in 2005. Be aware that the comp makes the gun much louder than a standard 45. I had the loudest gun on the range, usually. I always hesitated to use it as a defensive gun, because you'd get some serious hearing damage using it indoors. But, it was a great gun to shoot
