So, I just picked this up at a good, (used), price.
The armory coat to the slide is a little scratched, not through, but noticeable, and there are some wear marks at the muzzle end of the slide. What do y'all think of me sending it in and having SCS armory coat the pistol in the fashion of the MC Operator? OD green on the frame and Matt Black on the slide. I'd have them also blacken and re crown the barrel. Could be done for less than $200.

New sights and S&A mag guide will be here in a couple days, then off to SACS to get the magwell blended, front strap checkered, and satin black armory coat. |

I painted it with Brownell's GunKote, and even sprayed the barrel and bushing. It wasn't very difficult at all, and came out great.

This past weekend I traded my DW Valor for this. I had anticipated the TRP to have a slightly lesser build quality. Turns out nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, the lock up of the barrel and slide is far superior in my TRP.

Been itchin' for a new EDC for a while now, and the wife was kind enough to let me pick out my Valentine's day gift a little early. So, I bought my first Springfield today:
3.3" XDS Mod 0 in .45 A local gun store had them for $425 plus taxes, but they were out of stock, fortunately for me Cabela's offered to price match them
