[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Speed loader question

Are speed loaders for a GP100 different than for a S&W 686? I have a bunch for a 686 but either I'm real rusty or they don't fit the GP100 quite right.

Same, as far as I recall; but it's been years since I've used mine in anything other than the L-frame.

Yeah, just checked the HKS site and their chart says they are the same,

Gp100 and 686 should be the same size.

Give Safariland Comp II or Comp III a good look. I find them far faster than the HKS loaders.

Update, got in some Com IIs and they are fantastic! Totally going with these, huge difference.
