Model 18 with round butt grip:

Twin Model 66's on top....Custom Model 65 lower left and a 3" Model 36 on the lower right: 
Model 340PD: 
This is a better shot of my Model 65. It started out as a standard 4" with a square butt. I had it cut to 3" and had the grip converted to a round butt. The muzzle was re0crowned and a new front sight was dovetailed into the barrel rib:

and I found while cleaning out the range box he bequeathed to me.

My SIL gave this to me today. It is my first S&W revolver. I searched a bit on the web but couldn't find any concrete information on age. It has 32 S&W CTG on the side and along the top of the barrel has patent dates from Feb 77 - Oct 88. It's DAO, breaks at the top and has a grip safety. Any info would be appreciated.
