S&W Model 10-5 made in 1971 and a Colt Police Positive Special made in 1958. Both are police surplus guns that have been ridden hard and put away wet.        That hat was in NYC on 9-11 by the way. Click To View Spoiler |

It was an engraved retirement gun for a Pasco County Deputy. I would have loved to have it . I will say my agency auctions guns. It doesn't melt em down unless totally useless and auction passes on em. |

      New in the box, never fired Model SW9F Sigma, shipped from the factory in August 1994, less than a month before the passage and enactment of the Clinton AWB. I won it on Gunbroker. I have less than $300 total invested in it and that's with shipping transfer costs included. |
Don’t recall if I posted this in the distant past or not. A Smith & Wesson that’s not commonly seen. It’s a model called a Light Rifle made in the late 30’s. Originally for the British Government for Home Guard use. Turned out to be a turd, frame tube would crack. They traded them to Smith for a bunch of 38-200 revolvers. In Britian’s wisdom they dumped most into the Channel. This is a Type1. The Type 2 was designed to reinforce receiver. A little to late to save a poor design.
