I bought one the other day, scandium frame, titanium cylinder. Very light weight. It has the hogue bantum grips and the red high viz front sight. I loaded it up with some 38+p silvertips, shot pretty decent, grouping about 3-4 inches offhand at 20 yards shooting single action. SA trigger pull was nice. Double action was a different story, almost had to use both hands to pull it. Oh well, I can fix that easy enough. Recoil wasn't bad with the +P's. Then I went to some Federal hydra shock 130 grain 357's. Wow! The muzzle blast was 15 feet in front of me, it was blowing the grass that far away and I was standing up. Recoil was stiff to say the least, and I am not recoil shy at all. All in all, I think I am going to carry it, I'll just do most of my practice with 38's in it. For those of you who have never seen one, it has a 2.5 inch barrel, it's black, with the titanium cylinder being a grey color. Not really sure yet if I like the looks, maybe they'll grow on me. Oh yeah, it weighs only 17.5 oz.

i have the 45acp airlight, same story with full power ammo.  but reloads are a whole other storry.  i can make it so the thing recoils similar to a 22mag.  nice pick up.........i think you will like that finish for carry use, not shiny, and it wont rust(except the trigger and hammer).

imagine the recoil on a J frame 360pd. it's punishing to say the least.

After buying my 386PD, I read some threads on the Smith'& Wesson forums about the lock engaging by itself under the heavy recoil so I took mine apart yesterday and disabled the lock. It is still there but it does not lock anymore.
