Does anyone here reload 44mag for your DE? When I inherited my dad's gun I also got several coffee cans full of bullets, shined up cases, and primers. Not sure what powder to use, etc.... any information about what loads you are using out there would be greatly appreciated. I think the bullets i have are jacketed hollow points, I'll have to check what they are marked.

Check this link for a pictoral instruction on reloading 44 mag on a progressive press.

I do all my reloading with a Lee single stage press.  It's a bit less intimidating for newbies than a progressive press.

I bought a set of Lee carbide dies that included the Factory Crimp Die.

Use large pistol primers.

I usually load 240gr FMJ ammo and use H110, 2400, or Win 196 powder.

If you need some pics, let me know.  Its pretty easy to do once you manage to get everything set up right.

Nice website ZeroLight, I also got my dad's progressive loader. I have been doing my hunting loads myslef with my single stage reloader press, just looking to make use of all the 44mag stuff I just got.
Thanks BangBoomPow, I looked in my book last night, I'll compare notes to see what I have, what you list, and then ultimately what my reloading book says.
