Thanks, figured it out. |
| My Neos was also 100% reliable but hit 8 inches low with the rear sight raised all the way. I called Beratta and theyhad me mail the gun back no questions asked. They replaced the barrel and now it hits right on. I sold it for a Ruger MK II and I'm very happy with the Ruger. The Neos was an awesome gun but I did not like how the safety dug into my hand. |

I have found that the rear site on mine has a tendency to drift right during shooting, you may want to see if yours is 'moving around'. I'm going to site it in again and put a drop of clear nail polish to lock it in place. Yeah, already went through that. In my case, it was the elevation screw walking up, and the pivot pin walking out. Too bad, the Neos is a cool design with a lot of potential. Too bad mine sucks. MKII FTW! |

I have a Neos, got it some time back when they first came out. There was a time when I thought it sucked. I almost traded it in but wouldn't let go of it for the hundred bucks they offered for it.
I took it apart one night and got out my Dremel and polishing kit. Worked that little gun over. Feed ramps, firing pin, slide, etc. Did a very minor procedure on the trigger while I was in there. Didn't spend a lot of time on it, maybe an hour or two while watching History Channel down in my Man Cave. My Neos it now one GREAT pistol. She feeds well, functions perfect has a great trigger, etc. I like this gun! Mine shoots well. I use golf balls at 25 yards for targets just for gun. With the standard iron sights she will flip those things up in the sky consitantly. I get a lot of compliments on that gun now. People can't believe how it shoots. Truth is, neither can I. I am impressed with the improvement in it with just doing some minor tuning, cleaning and basic polishing. Neo=good pistol |
