VMW was great to deal with. I sent them my disassembled slide with sights removed, all new slide parts/ springs, new sights, and my HD, total price was $200 I think. Price included machining, slide cerakoting, slide reassembly, sight install, optic install, and the laser etching of the anchor. ($180 service + $20 laser). Optic needs to go in because they will mill all material above the firing pin safety, so the safety spring will go right against the bottom of the optic. Only complaint is some lines visible on the side of the gun… maybe a fixture for laser engraving or slide assembly? I don’t care about those things, so YMMV. (EDIT: visible in pictures 2/3/4). |
