Gearing up to replace my j-frame, and my P32 with the new bodyguard 2.0.. just seems too good to be true. Anyone else looking forward to getting one. Video on youtube shows it as thin as a p32, and the same length with the p32 extended mag. |

I have been a pocket J-frame* (or equivalent) guy since 1995. I started with a nickel 442 loaded with the 125 grain Federal Nyclad HP. My current pocket guns are a 442-1 and/or a LCR in either .38 Special or 9mm. I am mostly a small revolver guy. When I go somewhere unknown risk I will carry a G48 or 49 with an optic. For my regular day to day off-duty it is usually 2 small revolvers. Right now that is either 2 9mm LCRs or the LCR 38 and 442-1. I have a 332 also. When I get one of the 432UCs those two will likely get carried from time to time also. Attached File Attached File Attached File |

So, I carry two guns, hope I never need to reload, and have a speed strip of 9mm rounds just in case. It will fire loose rounds fine, it is just extracting them that is an issue. 147 Grain Gold Dot G2 into clear ballistics gel (no denim or other barrier, I'd like to retest it with denim). Reloads were from my 26 or SUB2000 mag, so I only got one reload w/o a pencil. Thought of swapping to the Charter, but the odds of me needing to reload my BUG in a gunfight twice are btwn slim & none. |
