Does anyone KNOW if the Mec-Gar 20 rd mags are longer than the 18s. I'm in a little bit of a bind and I need them to be a little bit longer. More specifically I need the metal part of the mag to be longer, not the baseplate.

I’d call or email Mec-Gar and if you don’t get any response check with Greg Cote LLC as they sell almost all the Mec-Gar magazine. You might be able to check with Brownell’s technical help line. I can’t tell for sure by the pictures.

Can you pull pics of the mags up and put them side by side to figure out what the lengths are?

Looks to me like they just put a different base plate on the 18 rounder.

I own Mec-Gar mags and I can tell you that the magazine tube length itself between the 18rd and 20rd are exactly the same. It is just a different magazine floor plate.
