[ARCHIVED THREAD] - P229 Question

I don't know much about the inner workings of the Sig line, so I hope someone here can help. Is there any way to refit the P229 with a magazine disconnector like on the 228s? Thanks for the help.

Thje standard 228 does NOT have a magazine disconnect. They may, indeed, have built some for a special contract with this abomination, but not the standard commercial guns...and there is no affordable method I know of to put one there.

I am not sure if it was a special run or not. I do know he bought it over in Germany.
