My first single action. Got a consecutive set for my brother and I of the Cimarron Arizona Rangers in 45LC. Haven’t shot them yet but the action is fantastic and the trigger is light and crisp. I love everything about it so far. Attached File |

Attached File A 5 1/2” and 6 1/2” three screw Single Sixes. The 5 1/2” wears Ruger stags. The 6 1/2” was my uncle’s convertible. My dad bought it off of him years ago. Dad passed away so now I have it along with my uncles Model 19 which I bought off of him at the same time my dad bought the Ruger. I got lucky with the 5 1/2”. I got to it first after replying to a local ad. He said he had a lot of interest in it. I don’t think he really knew about the grips. |

I "commissioned" Alan Harton to build me a .41 Magnum based on a Ruger 50th Anniversary Flat Top Blackhawk .357 Magnum, the mid-frame example. He installed a new Douglas barrel and bored the chambers from .357 to .41. It took several months, but when it finally arrived we wasted no time. These are all 50 yd. groups fired from a seated, back-rested (SBR) position-    A 100 yd. group fired SBR-  Aaaand a couple of kill shots-

My collection so far, Uberti 1873 in 45 Colt, Taylor 1873 in 45 Colt, and in .22 - a Rough Rider, a Ruger Wrangler, a Chiappa and an old JP Sauer in chrome. I really enjoy the .22 versions and nowadays shoot them more than the any other firearm I own. Now trying to find a Pietta .357 in 4.75-5.5" that won't break the bank. Attached File |

Something I just happened upon. 1967 vintage in near mint condition. My question is.... Shoot it as is - or "unconvert" it then shoot it (loading 5 rounds)? On closer examination it appears to be unfired. Its raining cats and dogs here today...so maybe I'll shoot it tomorrow

It has only been a few days since I first posted in this thread but I was hanging out at my neighbors on Memorial Day and he was saying he had a bunch of .22 ammo he doesn't shoot, asked to horse trade with me. I was going through the stack he pulled out and he and "added" this old FIE .22/.22 Mag single action to the pile and said, "this too, I know you'll shoot it, I won't". Scored over 11k rounds & the FIE pistol in trade for a Glock 45 with 2 17rd mags. Attached File |
Waiting to pick up a revolver this week.  To go along with this  However now I also find myself looking at something like this as well. Cimarron 357 thunderer I’d like to get another Vaquero in 357 with the birds head grip. Apparently it’s a Talo edition and Ruger is not making many of them. |

Does anyone know where I can find a video or instructions to restore a Ruger Bearcat to the original hammer/trigger configuration? I have found the Ruger videos that show how to disassemble new model Bearcats and Bearcats that have been converted, but I can't find anything on how to reassemble using the original parts. I would ask about a gunsmith that could do it, but I'm guessing no one will take on the liability. I just want to put it back the way it was when my grandfather had it. Yes, I know it's not safe to carry with 6 in the cylinder. This is a range gun only to help me connect to him because I never knew him. He died when I was a year old. Any help would be appreciated.
