Do you know of any place to get a police trade in 92FS?

Looking for one.

Actually; it is.

Made for Browning by SIG SAUR like this one; which is in fact a very well finished P 220 clone.

There is another entirely different pistol also known as the Browning BDA 380; it's a .380 similar to the Beretta Cheetah.

That one was manufactured in Italy for Browning by FN.

They were made by Beretta for Browning.  Enclosed slide and safety is different.  Trigger and everything else is a Beretta 84.  The Browning/SIG is an early verison with European mag release which is way it didn't do so well here.  SIGs hadn't caught on yet and weren't really noticed until after the M9 trails in the mid 80s.

NICE!!!  Would you carry it as a CCW from time to time or is it just for plinking?

Patrick,
Thanks for the comments. The Baer will get used for a bit of everything. In fact I have already CCW'd it. That is why it wears a smooth grip panel on the side I carry up against my body in my Milt Sparks IWB rig and a checkered on the other side.
It is a keeper for sure!

Just bought my first Colt 1911 last week- a new series 80 commander.  It joins my Springfield Loaded Target that I also love but don't feel comfortable using it as a CCW.  Pic shows the pistol and the Galco summer special IWB holster I also bought to carry it.  It carries very well.  Heavier than my Glock 26 but thinner.
