I have one on a Colt MK IV S80 that I set up to look like a USGI.

Have one on my YoBo Springer and one on my Series I Kimber. IMO try to get one that's recessed.

I've got a USGI one I paid ten bucks for out of a bin at a show.

Guncrafters makes a nice one, but last I looked they don't make an arched version.

I have one on my Sistemas.  I use a lanard when I go canoeing, fishing ect.  It is a good option to have.  I wish my HK P7 PSP had one.

I have one.  Its a copy of the old GI arched mainspring housing.  Works well, and is convenient some times.

I can see where they come in real handy some times.

I'm going to order the Mars Armament one next payday. Y'all weren't lying about them being pricey.
