My wife has a LCP and we have both shot it without a single malfunction.  I bought a Diamondback, it was fine for a while then went south.  I sent it in and they replaced it with a new one.  I am afraid to shoot it and lose the NIB status.  I think I would like anther LCP for myself, and get rid of the DB.  Have there been many issues with the LCP in general?   I cant seem to to bring myself to buy a gun that people say "I only had this many problems today at the range".  I am used to Glocks and problems were not in my vocabulary, but I want something smaller.

Glock 26 or maybe a S&W airweight? Really guns the size of the LCP are nice because they are that small, but how small do you really need to go?  I would not go that small unless it was a situation where for instance you worked for a company that would fire you if they knew you carried but you want to carry anyway.

Just my two cents.

Thanks.  I have a Glock 19, 26, and 36.  I really want something ultra concealable and may I say ultra reliable?

From my experience, and the experience of others that I have heard of, the LCP reliability is top notch. I have not really heard of anyone having serious reliability issues with one.

Mine has been great and has moved to my daily carry because of the heat here in MS. I recommended all of my friends by one. For the price, its great. Its my beater go everywhere with me gun now.

I haven't had one single problem with my LCP, I have somwhere around 500 rounds through it. I use tetra gun grease on the slide and barrel, don't know if that makes a difference.
