I have a few of their 17 round mags that I used to make my 23 round extended mags using TTI +5 extensions with Gram engineering 11 coil mag spring and follower kit. As best as I can tell they are the same as the factory mags minus the logo and finish which is blued rather than an AFC. My custom mags have about 1,200 rounds through them with no issues. Thanks but I haven't really tested them enough in their stock form to really say they are reliable or not. I bought them initially because they were less expensive and all I needed was the mag bodies. Everything else was replaced. That said the research I did online suggests they are good to go. Everyone who has used them has given them a green light. One side note for those that are intrested the ACT mags and their blued finish is slicker. The ACT mags insert and eject smoother than the factory mags. This is especially noticeable when using the Wilson Combat grip module. |

Not a direct comparo, but I bought several mags for my CZ from gregcote. Bought some nicer mec-gars for carry and a couple ACT's for range use. The ACT's function just the same as the more expensive Mec-gars. If it wasn't for owning 10 320's and being able to get a couple extra mags for some of them a year ago, I would be stocking up on the ACT's |
| You guys are great. I am so glad I asked about them. Sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you get more than what you pay for. I have magazines on the way. I also looked into my Sig 220 pouches and found 4 ACT magazines that I have had for years and been using. Thanks again for the great information and I hope this helps others as well. I picked up my 320 today and can't wait to get to the range. Mother's day is going to prolong that though. No matter how much I want to go to the range, Mother's day takes precedence. |

Just a quick photo essay. For comparison the factory P320 magazine and components will always be on the left and the ACT magazine and components will always be on the right. Tomorrow I am going to take the six ACT magazines I have and run 200 rounds through each of them in their factory configuration to test their reliability. I don’t expect any issues but I will report anything that comes up. I realize this is a small sample size. Comparing these two mags they are very close. Just some very small differences. The mold marks in the plastic suggest to me they come from the same plastic manufacturer. In fact I’m pretty sure the factory mags are ACT mags or at least made by ACT. You be the judge. |

There's a guy on another site that is on the CheckMate Pistol team and he said that for P320, SIG has contracted with 3 companies to supply mags. The mag bodies are part of my EDC set up. I fully trust this set up as I’ve tested it. M18, ACT 17 rnd mag with a TTI +2 for a total of 19+1 and two 17 rnd ACT mags with TTI +5 and gram engineering 11 coil springs with followers for a total of 23 rounds per mag. My EDC is 66 rnds of 9mm. I realize this might sound heavy to some of you but my prior carry was a Beretta WC Brig Tac with a Surefire X300, a mecgar 18 rnd mag and two 20 round back ups. This new EDC set up is lighter, plus I get an RMR and a few more rounds. Attached File Attached File |

Thanks. I was hoping to see the 15 and 17 markings like on the ACT mags. My guess is ACT has both markings on the 17 rnd mags because they use the same press for both the 15 rnd and 17 rnd mags and then just add the cut to the porcess for the 15 rnd mags. This is just speculation though. I haven't been able to find the 15 rnd mags in stock or I would buy some. @joglee Send me your address. I'll send you some of the ACT floor plates and locking plates from my ACT mags. They should work and I'm not using them after today anyways. |
| Fully tested all of my ACT P320 17 rnd mags in the factory configuration. Nothing much to report. Roughly 1,300ish rounds were fired through the six ACT mags and all were boringly reliable in my M18, 2 X-Carrys and an X-Compact. For me, I will be buying more. Especially when I can get almost get two ACT mags for the price of one factory marked mag. |
| Ordered 5 and they came in today. Look good and were packed very well and safe bagged with lots of paper in a box with a bag around that. Got them from Cote, my second order from them and will probably order more in the future. Magazines look good will function test them soon. Thanks again for all the great information. Glock poor, soon to be Sig poor. Looking for a good deal on X carry or just a regular carry since the Wilson frames look good and might want to give one of them a try soon. |
