I have just put the down payment on a Series 80 Colt,I know its not all factory because it has a really nice beavertail and a extended thumb safety lever!! They also put a combat hammer,and a lanyard rounded backstrap,and black buffalo grips on it!! The slide is a little holster worn and the frame is still nicely blued,it hasa 5 digit ser number that starts with a FG3832X!! What does the FG stand for,First issue,Fed Gov, ???? And 550 out the door is what I am willing to pay for it!!!!! Any help on the ser # would be greatfully apreciated!! Thanks Bob
