In August, I called Glockstore.com to inquire about the availability of a black threaded barrel for a G 23 and a thread protector. I was told by the salesperson that they had 2 barrels in stock and the thread protectors had been ordered and should arrive in a couple of days. He also told me to place the order and the barrel would be shipped to me, and when the thread protectors arrived they would ship me one on their dime. I proceeded to the website and placed the order.
A few days later, Mr. Brown came to my door with a package from Glockstore.com. I opened the package, and it contained a thread protector and no barrel. I read the invoice and it showed 1 thread protector shipped and 1 barrel on back order. I called Glockstore.com and spoke to them about the situation. The person I spoke to said that the shipped weight of the package was 0.6oz and that was not heavy enough to include a barrel. He said he would send the order back to the shipping dept. and have it corrected so my barrel could be shipped. I waited a week and no barrel, so I called back. This was the Friday before Labor Day. They said they would ship the next week. I waited about 10 days and still no barrel. I called again last Monday, and was told the barrel would be here by Monday this week. As of today, no barrel. I called back again and spoke to Aaron at ext. 302 (2nd time to speak with him). He stated that they were working with UPS and wanted to know if the original box containing the thread protector appeared to have been tampered with, I advised him that it did not appear that it was opened prior to it being delivered to my residence. My contention is that if he had record that the original package only weighed 0.6oz, and that was not enough weight to contain a barrel then why are they negotiating with UPS and making me wait for my product? I would think they printed the UPS label or took it to a location where one was printed because they knew the weight of the item and this could only occur if the package was sealed for delivery. If the package was tampered with, they would have a heavier weight listed than UPS and then they would have a problem with UPS and not me. I simply want the item I paid for almost a month ago. I am not the person responsible for the mistakes, and if UPS stole it then why make me wait? They should overnight me a barrel and deal with them. I am considering canceling my order and requesting a refund and looking elsewhere for the product. What say the hive? |

Called and talked to Aaron again today with the intention of canceling my order. He said the barrel shipped today and should be here by mid week next week. We shall see. mid next week.....fuck that! They should have already had the shit to you. I would send it all back and tell them to get fucked. Did you get tracking info. I bet your barrel still has not shipped. they are dicking you around. Sorry I sound a little harsh, but I just went through some bullshit with a fucker/seller on amazon. |
