Found a tension spring on my basement floor today that looks like a Glock trigger spring.  I visually checked that all of the trigger springs were present in the Glocks I own.  Furthermore, I don't recall having any extra trigger springs on hand.  I'm wondering if it could be from another firearm I own.  I own several AR15's and an AK-47 (I'm pretty certain it's not from any of those), a Remington 870 and SIG Mosquito and Jericho 941.  All of these firearms have been function tested and appear to be working.  Everything indicates that the spring must isn't from a firearm I own, but since it looks identical to a Glock trigger spring, I'm preoccupied with thinking it's from a firearm.  Any insight would be appreciated.

Have you changed/upgraded the trigger spring in any of your Glocks? Maybe it's an original one that you took out that just ran loose.

I had a NY trigger installed in one of my Glocks back in 2005 by a friend, at his place of work, which is located in a different state then the one I live in now.  At the time, I lived about 12000 miles away from where I live now and I've moved several time since so it's hard to believe that spring followed me all this way.  Furthermore, I don't remember keeping the original spring.  I had the NY trigger changed back to standard 1-2 years ago and purchased a new spring at that time.  Can't imagine the spring I found could be the original trigger spring from that gun, but I suppose anything's possible.  I'm just wondering if there is anyway it came from another firearm I own.

I can't imagine that any other firearm would use a spring that looks exactly like a Glock coil-type trigger spring.

I suppose that is the most likely case.  If anyone identifies some other possibility, please feel free to post.
