I have had my glock for awhile and just today I shot it and it did not cycle the next round and jammed, any suggestions?

I would run a few more boxes of the same ammo through it and see if you can get it to do it again.

Might not ever jam.

Not to be a smart ass... but you were not limp wristing it, were you? I have several Glocks. All 9mm. The only one I have had issues with is the Gen 4 17 which occasionally stovepipes due to the recoil spring I assume. I have about 3000 rounds through my Gen 2 19 and it just had its first real malfunction 2 months ago (it refused to let the empty shell loose). What Generation / model do you own?

I shot twice and it jammed both times and no I wasn't limp wristed lol! It a G22C Gen 3 so its a .40 cal and I guess I can shoot it again tomorrow to see if it does it again.

What type of jam? Failure to extract? Failure to Feed? Double Feed? Stovepipe?

How many rounds through your gun? How many rounds through the magazine(s) that you're using? When was the last time, if at all, that any parts/springs were replaced on it and how many rounds since then?

As asked above, what kind of malfunction specifically? Describe it in detail. How many rounds left in the magazine when it happened, or was it the last round? What position was the cartridge in? The slide?

Are your mags marked? If not, mark them now. You need to be able to eliminate a problem magazine.

My guess right now, most likely a new recoil spring assembly (RSA) and replacement of your magazine springs would fix the problem.

I fixed it! it was something stupid, the guide rod wasn't in the right slot so it made the barrel loose and was jamming the bullets from the mag. I just recently took it apart about a month ago to clean and lube, guess I wasn't paying attention and didn't put it in properly. Thanks for all of the post, I appreciate it!
