Decided today was going to be the day I purchased a glock 21 I have been lusting for. Found a new gen 4 locally for 579 and snatched it up. I wanted a glock 41 but cheapest locally was 699 and that was too much in my opinion.

I took it to the local shooting spot and fired 100 rounds of geco 230gr ball and 23 rounds of 230gr Speer gold dots.  As expected I had zero issues and the pistol was very pleasant to shoot. Less perceived recoil vs my sig scorpion 1911 most likely due to the lower bore axis and dual recoil springs.

Shopping for some bullets for load into my prepped .45 brass and hunting for a holster to go with my x300u

Actually, I have both, and much prefer the 21SF over the 41.  I haven't even decided yet if the 41 is a keeper.  The 21, if I could only have 2 Glocks, it'd be one of them...the other being a 26 or 43 for carry.

I have a 21.3.  Boringly reliable and the one on the night stand.

Nice choice

I got a 21SF a few months ago, have been carrying it appendix IWB, surprisingly just as / little more comfortable than Glock 23.
Here are 5 shot chrono averages I've obtained, ascending in order of KE:
Federal Hydra-Shok 230 gr. @ 846 fps / 367# KE
Federal HST 230 gr. @ 863 fps / 380# KE
Winchester Ranger T 230 gr. @ 931 fps / 443# KE
Federal Hydra-Shok 185 +P @ 1,060 fps / 462# KE
Remington Golden Saber 185 +P @ 1,069 fps / 470# KE

Picked up a bravo concealment holster to use with my x300 ultra and 500 230gr fmj to load. I can't wait to shoot this bad boy more, I'm thinking the 1911 will be sitting in the safe for awhile.

I have the same gun, I wasn't sure I was going to like it but got a descent deal on it and rolled the dice, one of my favorites now, my only concern was how bulky they feel at first, I had only held a standard Gen3 up until that point.

Love my 21SF. I've handled and shot the 41's, they are nice but the 21 shoots just as smooth, if not better.

+1 I have both also. I like the G21 much better, seems more balanced.

Have both the 41 and the 21. Nice shooting .45's. I find the Glocks recoil less than 1911's and are just as accurate.

make sure you check out a glock 30, it only gets better
