Dry fire, keep shooting, or heavier trigger reset spring.

I change the trigger reset spring on all my Glocks because I like the more positive trigger reset and it drops about 1# of weight off the trigger pull.

Shot a friends G19 yesterday that is close to my serial number, his has a few K rounds through it.Trigger feels the same as mine.Would having the internals polished help out?I really don't care for these triggers in stock form compared to other guns I've shot.Add to that i'm getting brass to the face.I called Glock and they said my gun has all the current updates...

That's just how a Glock trigger is.

You can change springs and it will be the same but lighter, but be extra damn sure the firing pin block still works correctly with the lighter springs.

Polished Glock triggers just feel like a smooth and spongy trigger to me.

Polishing just takes out any rough metal to metal feel on the trigger.  It does not change the weight or anything just if you have a gritty trigger.
Changing springs is what you want to do and with the Glock you have so many options.

For carry I only change the trigger reset spring and leave everything else alone.  Makes the trigger about 4.5-5# but with a more positive reset.
My range 17 and 34 I run a - connector and a heavier trigger reset spring and it brings the trigger to about 3.5-4# with no mushy feeling strong reset.

Running the - connector alone in my opinion makes the Glock trigger feel like crap and the standard setup while it is fine for me I much prefer it with the heavier trigger spring because it has mush and the reset is not the feel I like

If you want a traditional revolver DA pull on your Glock the NY1 trigger spring with a - connector will give you  about 6# straight DA single stage trigger feel. The NY1 with stock connector will give you the same feel but 8#.

Do not polish.  Dry and live fire will turn it into a great trigger over time

Put a couple thousand more rounds through it and it will continue to wear in. You dont want to put a - connector or go changing springs on a primary carry gun vs a range gun like a 34 IMHO.
