Anybody have experience with this ankle holster? I am looking for something to carry my P3AT as a BUG and I am wondering if this would be worth buying.
For those who have used one
-does it shift around a lot on your ankle?
-And what is the heaviest gun you've carried with it?
I would prefer to carry my S&W model 36 as a BUG but at 19 oz I think this might be too much weight.

I carry a Taurus 85 Titanium revolver in an Apache on occasion.  I have had no problems with it.  As long as you have a sock that covers your ankle about an inch or so above where the bottom of the holster is it's pretty comfortable.  I'm guessing a P3AT is lighter than a snub-nose, so you may be better off yet.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind. And yeah the Keltec is only about 11.5 oz loaded, easy to carry but hard on the hand .

For a gun that small weight won’t be an issue, but for me ankle holsters begin and end with Renegade Ankle Holsters out of Phoenix, AZ. I’ll never go back.

I have read a little about the renegade and it sounds like an excellent holster, but if I went that route do they make a left handed holster for a model 36?

Google gives up one link for the renegade purchase, anyone have more?

I ended up purchasing a renegade for my revolver from GMS Tactical. I might post a review after using it for a few weeks.

I'm way late but ordering directly from Renegade was as good or better price than any place online. They are a small shop and want to stay that way due to quality and service.
